Today saw the first major trees and shrubs replacement activity by Friends of Edna Walling since the original Roadside Vegetation Plan implementation. 39 new trees and shrubs were planted in 5 locations.

A 'Tom Matthews' crabapple (Malus 'Mattthom') tree donated by Coral and Peter Cunningham was also planted in the Edna Walling Lane triangle in place of trees and shrubs that had died over recent years. (It's hard to pick out in the photo below but its directly behind the "Edna Walling Lane" sign.)
